Izmir University of Economics (IUE) qualified for ‘A’ rating as a result of a satisfaction survey conducted by University Research Laboratory (UNIAR), among 47 thousand 761 students studying at 200 universities nationwide. 

The award ceremony of the Turkish Mathematical Olympiad, which is organized to increase the interest of primary, secondary and high school students in mathematics, was hosted by Izmir University of Economics (IUE).

Ezgi Kaya, who graduated from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Genetics and Bioengineering this year, was accepted to the world-famous Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) received a double award at the ‘Innovative Idea Development Workshop in the Electricity Distribution Sector’ organized with the cooperation of Izmir Development Agency (IZKA), GDZ Elektrik and Genç İşi Kooperatif.

Mert Atanmış (23), who graduated from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Industrial Engineering with the first place last year, was entitled to receive the ‘GREAT’ scholarship awarded to only 200 students by the British government. 

This year's winner of the Turkey Creative Business Cup, hosted by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) in order to increase Turkey's power in the creative industries, was Ubeydullah Güngör, who produces filter coffee under the name of ‘Kahvegibikahve Salla-Demle’ (Shake and Brew).
