Sarp Apak and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, the actors of the film ‘Ölümlü Dünya 2’ (Mortal World 2), which has garnered significant attention from film enthusiasts since the day it was first released, met with university students in Izmir. 

Emre Sakcı, the national swimmer with a world record and a student at Izmir University of Economics (IEU), brought another medal to our country by securing third place in the European Short Course Swimming Championships held in Romania. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) men's football team finished third in the Turkish University Sports Federation Regional League competitions held in Muğla and won the cup. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which aims to provide the best career opportunities to its students by providing them with the skills sought by the business world, received a grant of 22 thousand pounds from the British Council, a UK-based international arts, culture and education organization. IUE became one of the 3 universities in Turkey that qualified to receive a grant this year within the scope of the ‘Connect4Innovation’ project.

Invited by Shizuoka University of Art and Culture in Japan, 8 students from the Department of Industrial Design of Izmir University of Economics (IEU) traveled to Japan to develop business models with the aim of making the Izu Peninsula a ‘gastronomic center’. 

The ‘Three Generations Master-Apprentice’ project, initiated by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) to bring its students together with business people and experts in the industry before they graduate, continues successfully in its third year.
