‘Surgical nursing’ summit in Kuşadasi

Dilge Kocabaş, a Faculty of Medicine student at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), was elected as the president of the European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA), headquartered in Belgium, with approximately 50 thousand student members from 130 universities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Oğuz Ekim, Lecturer at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), was awarded a 75 thousand Euro grant from the European Union for her autonomous transport robot developed for use in the supply centers, warehouses or factories of large companies.
‘Izmirian’ touch to sanatorium in Ankara
Asst. Prof. Dr. Deniz Avcı Hosanlı, Lecturer at Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and Cansu Değirmencioğlu, PhD candidate from the Chair of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich, prepared a project that examines the Ataturk (Keçiören) Sanatorium, which was established in Ankara about 70 years ago for the treatment of tuberculosis patients, from an architectural, historical and social perspective.
