Dr. Alper Gedik, Lecturer at Department of New Media and Communication, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), went to the USA to introduce the 51-year-old historical documentary about the world-famous Italian film director Pier Paolo Pasolini to the present day.

Realizing projects with the aim of unearthing historical caravanserais around the world and transferring them to future generations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Güzden Varinlioğlu, Lecturer at Department of Architecture, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), was accepted to two world-renowned universities in the USA and England with a scholarship. 

Nine newly graduated students from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Genetics and Bioengineering achieved great success by being accepted to 6 different universities in Germany for their master's degree. 

Young people who graduated from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) this year were sent off to their new lives with excitement and happiness.

Having reached an occupancy rate of 97.68 percent last year, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which is the 4th most preferred foundation university in Turkey in undergraduate programs, knows no bounds when it comes to research projects. 

An ‘Appointment and Promotion Ceremony’ was held for 59 academics who were appointed to the professorship, associate professorship and assistant professorship positions at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Medicine in 2019-2022. 

Elif Larende (22), who graduated from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Business, Department of Economics with the second place this year, got on the radar of the Brits with her high grade point average and research. 

Aslı Melike Soylu, who graduated from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of English Translation and Interpretation this year, came first in the Young Translators Contest organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for European Union Affairs.

Final-year students of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Fine Arts and Design completed their educational journey with the horizon themed ‘Graduation Exhibition and Fashion Show’. 

The intelligent decision support system (IDSS) named ‘LTLZone’, which was developed by a team of 3 people at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), with the aim of enabling logistics companies to provide higher quality services at low cost, received a double award.
