ASST. PROF. BIRESSELIOĞLU'S BOOK IS IN THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA
The book titled “European Energy Security: The Impact and Role of Turkey in the Future” written by Asst.Prof. Mehmet Efe Biresselioğlu, head of the department of Sustainable Energy at Izmir University of Economics, has been published by Palgrave MacMillan, one of the leading publishing houses in the world.

Nowadays with a technology extending its limits students have the chance to take courses from thousands of kms far away. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gonca Günay from Izmir University of Economics lectured students from Tokyo Tsukuba University via video conference.
IUE distinctness in ERASMUS
İzmir University of Economics has succeeded by signing ERASMUS agreement with 78 countries. While 145 students have preferred to continue their education in İzmir University of Economics, 224 students have had the right to maintain their education in various countries of Europe.
IUE proves its difference in terms of second language
Proving its difference in terms of second language teaching, İzmir University of Economics School of Foreign Languages takes on the execution of the international examinations known to Europe. In this academic term, 81 students who had their educations have gained the right to take their certificates by succeeding in their exams.

EXPO Scholarship Invitation to 157 Countries Stating that Izmir University of Economics is moving on the way to become a world university, Ekrem Demirtaş, The Board of Trustees in Izmir University of Economics, asserted that they could give a scholarship to one student from each of the 157 countries during the process of 2020 EXPO.
