Izmir University of Economics (IUE), celebrating its 20^th anniversary this year as the first Foundation University of the Aegean Region, brought together the presidents of 3 non-governmental organizations that play a key role in the development of the city and direct the regional economy for "education". 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which improves the quality of education in the field of health and offers opportunities to its students with the collaborations it develops, established the ‘Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation’ with yet another innovation in its 20^th year of establishment. 

The 111-piece private collection prepared by senior students of  Department of Textile and Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), will meet art lovers at the 'digital fashion show' on July 13. 

Melike Soylu, student of Department of English Translation and Interpretation, Izmir University of Economics (IUE),  came third in the "Poetry in Translation Competition" organized by Ankara Bilim University. Soylu, who translated the poem,

With the sweltering summer heat being effective, a 'health' warning came from an expert to those who finds the solution to turn on the air conditioner to cool off. 

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Efe Biresselioğlu from Izmir University of Economics (IUE) has developed a project called “Dialogues” with 9 countries to increase energy efficiency and to determine the work to be done for individuals in this regard. 

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Club, established within Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which has hosted 274 Erasmus students from 28 different countries in the last 5 years, has collected awards. 

12 projects prepared by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) students were entitled to receive support within the scope of "2209-A Research Projects Support Program" implemented by TUBITAK to encourage young people in scientific studies.

Aegean Exporters' Associations (EIB) and Izmir University of Economics (IUE) signed a cooperation protocol for the "Turquality" project, which will last for 5 years, enabling Turkish cuisine to be taught at University of Las Vegas. 

Former CEO of Turkcell and investor Süreyya Ciliv, who held senior positions in high technology companies, met with students at the "Students Consulting Experts" event organized by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Vocational School.
