Senior students of Department of Textile and Fashion Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) created special collections inspired by recyclable clothing, zero waste and slow fashion trends for the fashion consumption. 

The scholarship campaign initiated to provide support to students of logistics department, on behalf of the philanthropist late Doğan Turhan, one of the founders of Turkey's largest transport company, has realized the dream of 69 young people so far.

Scientists at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) calculated the carbon footprint of Turkish cuisine and determined that it is a more environmentally friendly cuisine than Italian cuisine.

Globally, three out of four English language teaching jobs require a CELTA qualification. The course is designed for potential teachers with little or no classroom experience and is therefore considered an entry level qualification in English language teaching but is also available to experienced teachers who wish to refresh their knowledge.

10 artworks of Prof. Dr. Elvan Özkavruk Adanır from Izmir University of Economics (IUE), in which she transferred coffee cup figures on fabric using all the intricacies of fiber art, were accepted to the international biennial in China. 

Emre Küheylan, Lecturer at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), who has works that made a difference in photography, whose works are exhibited in many countries and has curated many international festivals, is the first Turkish person to be selected for the jury of the "International Photography Awards", one of the most prestigious photography competitions in the world.
