The competition co-organized by Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Izmir University of Economics (IUE) and IUE Medical Park Hospital to raise awareness about vaccine, which is vital in combating coronavirus, has been concluded.

After graduating from Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Müge Güvensal, who decided to live in England where she went for her master's degree and founded a travel company here, brought together all the places and memories she traveled in 12 countries in a book.

Onur Cavit Biriz from Izmir, the owner of many cups and medals in Turkey, who started windsurfing as a hobby at the age of 9, proved his talent in a short time and worked his way up to the Turkish National Team, has reached his 'Olympics' goal.

Doğa Deniz Çıkman (19), who started sailing at the age of 10 at the insistence of her father, proved her talent in a short time and made it to the national team, has already received 15 cups and 70 medals in her career. 

Tuğçe Nur Doğan, clinical psychologist of Izmir University of Economics (IUE), advised couples for correct communication during the full lockdown period and warned that this period should not turn into "introversion".

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Department of Visual Communication Design carried out a joint project with 6 universities abroad to develop the creativity of students who were locked down due to the pandemic.

By establishing a company called QReal in New York and applying "3D and augmented reality" technology to different sectors such as e-commerce, fashion, and food, Alper Güler and Caner Soyer, entrepreneurs from Izmir, have developed projects for 100 world-famous brands in 5 years, causing international companies seeking interest in Izmir. 

Ali Osman Yangöz, a native of Izmir, who quickly improved himself in archery, which he started in middle school and achieved the European championship at the age of 17, did not give up his passion at the university. 

After graduating from university, Dilara Aldemir(27), who refused job offers and went to live with her musician brother in America, started her career as a waitress in New York, then returned to Izmir and started her business.
