Critical advice on the use of face masks and gloves
Nursun Üstünkarlı, Lecturer at Paramedic Program, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), called attention to the mistakes made in using face masks and gloves stating that they would increase the risk of diseases, and she provided critical advice on how to use them.

Mahmut Özgener, President of IUE Board of Trustees, pointed that they accomplished many important tasks under the guidance of wisdom, science, and technology in a very short time. “We became the kind of institution which generates ideas, creates values for our country and city in the past 19 years that are full of accomplishments. Our graduates, who are doing their own business or keeping managerial positions in over 50 countries, are our biggest source of pride. We will continue to be the pioneer of innovations with the youth who never disappoint us,” said President Özgener.”

Distance education got full score from IUE students
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) continues to provide hassle-free distance education to its 10 thousand students with its strong technical infrastructure and allows them to develop themselves regardless of time and place. With full attendance to classes since 23 March, when the distance education first started, IUE students expressed their satisfaction on the “accessibility of course materials”, “student-instructor interaction” and “tech skills of academics”, in the surveys.
