Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Türsel Eliiyi, Member of Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Department of Industrial Systems Engineering, has successfully completed career project that was supported by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey).

Izmir University of Economics will host a live broadcast of “Tarafsız Bölge Hürriyet Özel Programı” (Neutral Zone, Hürriyet Special Program) under the management of journalist-author Ahmet Hakan.

The 4th Cosplay Convention, which was organized by Izmir University of Economics Anime - Manga Club, hosted participants from various cities in Turkey.

Students of IUE Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Mathematics Cansu ADAŞ, Mustafa AŞÇI and Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Department of Computer Engineering, Ufuk BOZKURT awarded TÜBİTAK 2209 support (domestic / foreign research project supporting programme for university student) with a project called “Decision Support System for Doctor Schedule Problem”.

Izmir University of Economics, Female Volleyball Team won the Championship Cup by defeating four University teams at University Sports Federation 1st League Volleyball competition which was held at Akdeniz University.

The students had a night to remember with the songs of Murat Dalkılıç, one of the most popular singers lately, at the 11th IUE Spring Festival. Izmir got carried away by an artist from Izmir.

The Panel, at 11th IUE Spring Festival, “Those Who Left a Mark on Turkish Football” turned into a course where good fellowship, chivalry and secrets of success were discussed. Engin İpekoğlu, the legendary goalie of the National Team, “The Emperor” Oğuz Çetin, and “Foreman” Vedat İnceefe of Galatasaray shared their experiences with the youth at the panel and told them how they left deep marks on Turkish Football where Sports Journalist Sait Gürsoy was the moderator.

STARS ARRIVED AT IUE SPRING FEST Izmir University of Economics students welcomed many famous names at their 11th spring festival which became a tradition. 

Prof. Dr. İsmihan Bayramoğlu, Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Science Dean and Department Head of Mathematics, was invited to be a guest lecturer at Illinois State University, USA.

The students are getting ready for an entertainment with the songs of Murat Dalkılıç, one of the most popular singers lately, at the 11th IUE Spring Festival.
