Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology announced the most innovative and entrepreneur 50 universities in Turkey. Izmir University of Economics, which is the only foundation university from Aegean Region in the index, ranked in 5th place with 8.6 points in terms of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Culture”.

Ekrem Demirtaş, Chairman of Izmir Chamber of Commerce (ITO) and President of IUE Board of Trustees, said that there would be a 15 percent discount for the children of ITO members who will start education at IUE in 2013 – 2014 Academic Year.
