Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Faculty of Medicine started 2019 – 2020 Academic Year with its new students. 34 prospective physicians took the stage to swear the “Medical Student Oath” at the White Coat Ceremony of IUE Faculty of Medicine that took place at IUE Conference Hall.

Mabel Matiz, who is very popular with his unique style and his songs lately, will perform at Izmir University of Economics on September Matiz is going to sing his favorite songs to IUE students and graduates as part of the ‘Welcome Week’ activities that will last throughout the week. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) signed a collaboration agreement with Euro Gıda, one of the largest and most trusted brands of food industry in Kemalpaşa, Izmir, in order to provide academic support to students receiving graduate education at IUE and allow them to engage with the business world.

Assoc. Prof. Şölen Kipöz, Lecturer from Department of Fashion and Textile Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), launched the second edition of her book titled, “Sustainable Fashion”  in which she addresses the latest trends in fashion and gives tips about reviving old clothing. Students of Department of Food Engineering, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), which carried Campus Izmir, first model of university-city integration in Turkey into effect, will receive training on protection and improvement of human health and increasing life quality with “nutrition science option program”.  

As hundreds of thousands of young people across the nation are excited about starting a university for the first time, clinical psychologists of Psychological Development and Counseling Center of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) provided some valuable tips that would ease and expedite the adjustment period. 

Landscape architecture has been addressed at the “2nd International Congress on Landscape Architecture Research” at Istanbul Beyoğlu Akademi led by Izmir University of Economics (IUE). The Congress was held under the leadership of Polis University, Albania and Nobel Science and Research Center and chairmanship of Dr. İpek Kaştaş Uzun, Lecturer from Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Izmir University of Economics (IUE). Academics from Italy, Spain, Albania, India, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and from Trabzon, Antalya, Denizli, Kocaeli, Gaziantep, and Izmir, Turkey attended the congress where many important topics regarding landscape architecture were discussed.  

Trainer Chef Tolgahan Kamiloğlu, from Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Izmir University of Economics (IUE),gave tips about canning, drying and curing, freezing, and making marmalades as we are about to enter winter.
